いつから当然の権利になったのか？
最近、ポスティングを要求する選手が多い。しかも、強硬姿勢だったりする。とくに、井川、上原の2人はなぜ、ここまで今オフでのポスティング移籍を要求するのか理解できない。まだ上原の場合、契約金返上と減俸を飲むというから、多少お願いすると言う姿勢がみえるが。
ポスティングは、あくまでもFAまで待てない選手のための特例措置で、球団の理解と大リーグ側の協力があってこそ成り立つもの。別に、当然の権利ではないはず。ポスティング移籍の要求選手がごねてる印象を受けても仕方ない。
選手の要求どおり、自由に大リーグや好きな球団へ行けるのなら、球団だってやってられない。ルールと秩序というものがある。結局、去年の合併問題がなぜ起こったのか。そして、プロ野球が危機的状況にあるという現実。これらを選手サイドも理解してなかったことが良く分かった。残念な限り。
