ドメインマネジメントはしっかりと。

民主党大阪府連の公式ページのリンク集で、水島広子議員のところをクリックするとアダルトサイトへジャンプするという、なんともお粗末な事態があった。現在、水島議員のリンクがあった衆議院議員のページはNotFoundに。リンクページ自体も「只今工事中」に。

かつてはmizu.nu（現在アダルトサイトのためリンク張らず）というドメインを使っていたわけだが、現在別のドメインに変更した。でもって、その以前のドメインが、アダルトサイトに持ち主が移動したようだ。それに気付かずリンクが張られたままというわけ。しかも、夕刊フジによれば持ち主移動の経緯は不明とか。

でも、ドメ検すると、

とある。

どういうことかというと、約2年前の登録からwhois情報が1度も書き換えがなされていない。つまり、水島議員が放棄したドメインをアダルトサイト業者が取得したわけではないということになる。ドメイン登録業者は自社名義で登録していたドメインを水島議員に貸していたが、水島議員との契約が終わり、今度はこのドメインをアダルトサイトに貸したというように読み取れる。ただし、ニウイドメインのNIC情報の更新がどのように行われているか詳しく知らないので、もしかするとレジストラが所有者移転を行っても、whois情報には反映されないのかもしれないが。もっとどんでん返しで、2年以上前にドメインを変えてから放置したままなら別だが。

いずれにしてもドメインを取得するときはちゃんとした業者を通して取得しないと、こういう所有者移転が起きる。国会議員なんだから少しは考えてドメインを取得すべき。欲しい文字列だけで、よく考えないでTLDを選ぶのはいかがなものかと。

今回問題のnuは通称ニウイドメインと呼ばれ、ニウイはドメイン登録料を国の収入源としている。決して経済的に豊かでない国の中には、ドメイン登録料で国家財政をまかなっている国はかなりある。自分がホスティングの顧客管理部門でドメイン取得担当の頃には、ニウイドメインとacアセンション島などがあった。tvドメインのツバルなどは販売権自体を売り渡すことで、国連加盟を果たした。ただし、このニウイドメインだが、DNSの書き換え手続きなどで、不透明な部分も多く、ニウイドメインの使用を断るホスティング業者も多くある。現在の水島議員のページはmizu.cxと、クリスマス島のドメイン。どうだろう。

せめて、

.jp.com .net .org .info .name

あたりにしとかないと。最大手のお名前.comが扱ってるドメインまでなら、まあなんとかなる。文字列もだけど、TLDはそれだけ大事。

どうしても、「mizu」という文字列にこだわりがあるのなら、

mizu.utsunomiya.tochigi.jp（地域ドメイン）

なんてのもある。これなら地元に根付いた政治家なんていうアピールにもなる。

最後に民主党大阪府連のHP担当もリンクチェックくらいしようよ。
